![]() "Open for Business: Tales of Office Sex" edited by Alison Tyler is a short erotic anthology of twenty-two illicit stories featuring office politics in naughty scenarios. Many of the stories focus around themes of power play and various types of discipline as one might expect. All the stories are unique and written with their own brand of erotic fever from intellectual copulations to downright raunchy romps with a few added twists to add an element of surprise. Two stories featuring exhibitionism stand out: the first story, Lisette Ashton's "That Monday Morning Feeling" and one of the last, “TGIF” by Saskia Walker. "That Monday Morning Feeling" follows a mischievous female protagonist through her morning commute to work via public transit where chance voyeurs enjoy cheap fleeting thrills. “TGIF” features a rebellious temp in a mundane job whose only relief comes on Fridays when she can flirt with a window cleaner through the office window. Once she has transgressed those boundaries however, she may get more than she bargained for. “Memorandum” by N.T. Morley is a clever, humorous work that reads as a “Notice of Disciplinary Action” in which the offending party is chastised for being in violation of the dress code, among other things. The humor in this story is so engaging because of the “prim and proper” language of the memorandum that is increasingly colored with more bawdy quips. Xavier Acton’s story, “This Call May Be Monitored for Quality Assurance” takes a humorous look at telemarketing, with an excellent idea on how to turn the tables on those pesky call center agents and put them in the hot seat. Rachel Kramer Bussel’s “Secretary’s Day” is a hot little piece about an underachiever who gets a job playing secretary to a strict “bitch goddess” Ms. Davis who answers his submissive fantasies by making him to do after-hours “duties of a more… personal nature”. "Open for Business" is worth the price of purchase just for the above-mentioned erotica alone and there are many more sizzling promiscuities to suit every taste. Certainly not your everyday workplace sexual fantasies, "Open for Business” might give you a few naughty ideas to help you get rid of the Monday nine-to-five blues. Warning: This book may not be suitable for the office. © 2008 Domina Doll Open for Business is available from most trade booksellers and Amazon.
